Child Safety Standards Policy

Timehop takes child safety very seriously. Our Child Safety Standards Policy is outlined below:

Timehop strictly prohibits the posting or sharing of any content that depicts or promotes child sexual abuse or exploitation. Examples may include:

  • Sharing or posting images or videos that depict child sexual abuse or child pornography.
  • Encouraging or soliciting others to produce or share child sexual exploitation material.
  • Creating or sharing sexually suggestive or explicit content that features minors.
  • Creating or sharing content that glorifies or romanticizes child sexual exploitation or abuse.

We encourage users to report any suspected child sexual exploitation material. We will take immediate action, including disabling the user's account, removing the prohibited content, and reporting the user to the appropriate authorities, such as law enforcement and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Need to report suspected materials? Email privacy@timehop.com.

Users are responsible for ensuring that the content they post or share on the platform does not violate our Terms of Service and this Child Safety Standards Policy. Failure to comply may result in the termination of the user's account and legal action.
