Disconnecting Facebook from Timehop

If you used a Facebook account to create your Timehop account, you cannot disconnect Facebook under settings. If this applies to you and you no longer wish to see Facebook content, we recommend the following workaround. 

This article will: 

• How to log out of a Timehop account that was created with Facebook 
• How to create a Timehop account with a phone number
• How to transfer your streak to a new account, if desired

If you used Facebook to create your Timehop account, but you no longer wish to see Facebook content in Timehop follow the steps below: 

1. Tap the settings icon to open the settings screen
2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap LOG OUT. 
3. This will bring you back to the login screen.
4. Important: Do not tap login here. You want to create a new account with your phone number. 
5. Tap Sign Up. When prompted, enter your phone number and follow the steps on the screen to enter the confirmation code. 
6. Follow the prompts on the screen to connect all desired services (be sure to skip Facebook this time around!) 
7. Once completed, contact us at help@timehop.com to transfer your streak.
